Cookie policy
A clear explanation of the preference controls used on Boroughline.
What a cookie does
A cookie is a small piece of information that a website asks a browser to retain. Some cookies allow essential functions to operate; others can be used for analytics or advertising, subject to the relevant privacy rules and choices.
This page explains the cookie preferences available on cerpenromantis.com, how long the current preference is retained and how you can change it.
Cookies currently used
Our cookie-choice system sets a first-party cookie called cookie_consent after you choose between “Accept all” and “Necessary only”. It records the choice as either all or necessary, applies across the website and expires after approximately 180 days.
This cookie is necessary to remember your decision and prevent the choice notice from displaying repeatedly. The cookie does not need your name or email address to perform that function.
Essential technical processing
Our web hosting and security services may process routine request information when delivering a page, identifying abnormal traffic or protecting the service. Such operations are separate from the preference cookie and may use short-lived technical identifiers when needed.
Essential functions do not require acceptance of optional analytics or advertising technologies. Blocking all cookies may cause the preference prompt to reappear on subsequent visits.
Analytics and advertising categories
Analytics cookies, where introduced, can help a publisher understand aggregate visits, article performance and page navigation. Advertising cookies, where introduced, can support campaign measurement or the presentation of relevant commercial material.
The current Boroughline pages do not load separate analytics or advertising tracking libraries. If such technologies are added, their purpose, providers and retention periods will be reflected in this policy and the relevant consent mechanism.
Your choice and how to change it
You can choose “Necessary only” without accepting optional cookies. If you later wish to review your preference, use the “Cookie preferences” link at the foot of any page to reopen the notice and make a new choice.
You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Once the preference cookie is removed, we will ask for your decision again when you next visit. Browser settings may also restrict third-party cookies independently of our controls.
Third-party websites
Links to the Tapster product page take you to a different domain. Tapster and its service providers may use their own cookies and consent controls. Boroughline does not manage those cookies, so review the seller’s cookie and privacy information when you visit its website.
